Gender Equality
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is a Government body that promotes and improves gender equality in workplaces.
The WGEA works with employers to help achieve gender equality by providing tools, resources and guidance.
As a workplace with more than 100 employees, commUnity+ reports annually to WGEA. The 2024–25 reporting period was the first time commUnity+ surpassed 100 employees.

Diversity
At commUnity+ we provide services and support for community members in Melbourne’s West and North, many of whom come from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
Similarly, as seen in our surveys, our staff also come from diverse backgrounds. We’re very proud that our organisation reflects the communities we serve.
This diversity is shown not only in terms of gender, but also countries of origin and languages spoken.
