commUnity+ 2025–28 Strategy

The commUnity+ 2025–28 Strategy marks and celebrates a significant point in the commUnity+ story.  As an organisation with a long and rich history, commUnity+ has grown and evolved over time. Among all the change, the organisation has always proudly maintained the same core purpose: to unlock pathways and assist people to access the services and support they need to lead the lives they want.  We are delighted to continue in this same tradition, using new opportunities and ideas to deliver on that same promise.

This strategy serves as a roadmap for the next three years and signposts our future over a ten-year horizon.  It sees us working with stakeholders, partners, funders and above all, people, families and communities in Melbourne’s expanding West and North.

Embedded throughout the strategy is the commitment to not only increasing service provision and access, but also to working in a way that is responsive to community need.  We aim to demonstrates measurable and lasting outcomes.

As an organisation, our people reflect the people, families and communities we work with – their lived experience, diversity, priorities, needs and aspirations.

This strategy will ensure that more people in Melbourne’s West and North are supported to reach their goals. We are certain that the founders of the Deer Park Residents’ Action Group, where the commUnity+ story began more than 40 years ago, would approve.
