When you call us, we will ask you for a brief description of your legal problem and the details of all the parties involved. We do not provide any legal advice when you make first contact, rather, we will seek information to decide whether we can book you in to speak with a lawyer or whether we will need to refer you to a more appropriate service. Interpreters can be assigned if required.
Please note that the initial legal consultation will consist of legal advice with any ongoing assistance and casework to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If you have a legal problem that is different from those mentioned above, we can refer you to another service that may be able to assist, or you can call the Victorian Legal Aid Legal Helpline on 1300 792 387.
If you live outside our catchment area, you can contact the Federation of Community Legal Centres on (03) 9652 1500 to find your local community legal centre.
