  • Create and tailor resumes and job applications 
  • Search and apply for jobs using online tools 
  • Prepare for interviews and communicate confidently 
  • Build teamwork, problem-solving and workplace communication skills 
  • Understand what employers expect in the workplace 
  • Manage your professional reputation online 
  • Identify your next steps towards employment, training or further study. 

EST is a practical, supportive program designed to help you strengthen your job search and workplace skills.  

You will receive guidance to identify suitable opportunities, improve your applications, prepare for interviews and better understand different industries and career pathways. 

Who can study Employability Skills Training

You can study the EST program at commUnity+ if you are over 15 years old and registered with one of the following government services: 

  • Workforce Australia Online 
  • Workforce Australia Services 
  • Transition to Work 
  • Inclusive Employment Australia 
  • Parent Pathways.  

Who can study Employability Skills Training

It is free to enrol in the EST program. Our EST classes are currently delivered online. You will need access to a computer and reliable internet. 

The EST program is delivered across three weeks with a total of 25 hours a week or for five weeks with a total of 15 hours a week.
