Volunteering
About Our Programs
commUnity+ offers a wide range of programs that have great volunteer opportunities. If you’re interested in community legal, Neighbourhood House activities or need a student placement in social work, then commUnity+ might be the right place for you!
Community Legal:
The Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre (BMCLC) offers volunteer opportunities where individuals are able to learn and develop administrative-legal skills. These responsibilities include the process of client intakes, composing documentation for our staff members regarding clients and all other parties and many other fundamental tasks that help increase the productivity of our legal centre.

Neighbourhood House Activities:
Neighbourhood House is in need of some friendly and efficient adult volunteers to help assist us with our programs. With your help and support, we can run our activities with ease and give our community more opportunities.
Student Placements - Social Work:
The Children’s Contact Service Centre, allows social work students to have their University placements at our centres. During the placements, students will be given the opportunity to enhance their administration skills and learn about how our contact centre conducts changeovers and supervised visits. Students will also have the chance to work with families with diverse, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds who require varying levels of support.
